those were the days

here's the sun setting on our last day in san diego

and here's the sun rising on our first day in ohio:

just kidding. as if i would wake up that early! plus i'm still a little disoriented about which way is north, south, east, and west since there are no major topographic landmarks to use as a reference point.

but, apparently west is that way, according to this picture i just took from my back porch.

as much as i love the west coast, ohio's really starting to grow on me! now if it would just warm up a little...
